Wool Penny Rug - Oval

   I choose to make my horse from several different colors in this example. Notice that I used matching embroidery floss where the white and brown spots on the horse come together and dark floss for the detail lines and around the exterior. I also added pretty shell buttons to the centers of the “pennies” instead of the smallest felt circles.
