An American Filly — Be Proud of Your Red, White, and Blue

   To help keep this quilt flat and square, this patriotic little filly was added to a background of pieced red and white stripes, then trimmed up, before the rest of the piecework was added. I used scraps for my reds and blues but chose to cut all my whites from the same fabric. Hand appliqué and machine quilting was sewn by Darcy Ashton using Warm & Natural™ cotton batting by the Warm™ Company.
