A Proud Mother — Batik Horses and Western Borders

   Western fabrics and batiks make this realistic horse quilt come to life. The mother horse’s eye was appliquéd from a separate piece of fabric. Buttonhole stitching was added after the appliqué was sewn. Appliquéd, pieced, and quilted by Darcy Ashton.
