     Choose your favorite swimming turtle and add him to the eleven goldfish swimming in this fun quilt.  The blocks were appliquéd by hand by Darcy Ashton.  The embroidery was sewn with two strands of dark brown floss.  The eyes were created with small black buttons that were sewn over an appliquéd circle.  A close-up photo of this eye and more options for sewing eyes appears on page 49.  The quilt was quilted on a long-arm machine by Brenda Esslinger of My Sister's Quilt in Edmond, Oklahoma using Warm and Natural® cotton batting by the Warm Company.
