Goldfish in Blue and Orange The key to this quilt is a wide variety of "watery" blue fabrics contrasting with bright orange fish. Several snails were sewn to the vines to add interest. The blocks were appliquéd by hand and the quilt was machine quilted with a loopy meandering stipple stitch using a variegated blue and green cotton thread. ©2006 Darcy Ashton all rights reserved. |
