Froggy Went a Courtin'
Number of Blocks: 16
Block Size: 7"
Quilt Size: 56" square

Although this quilt was sewn from 1930's reproduction fabrics, it can also be made with bright pinks, blues, yellows, and lime greens.  This quilt was hand appliquéd and machine quilted by Darcy Ashton.  The one-piece appliqués were embroidered by hand with the buttonhole stitch using two strands of black floss.  The eyes and faces were simply sewn with the outline and satin stitches.  The center of the quilt was machine quilted by outlining the appliqués and ditch quilting.  The outer squares were quilted with a crosshatch by sewing through each square on the diagonal.
