Citrus Ceviche The main colors for this quilt are lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit and black. This quilt was hand appliquéd, machine pieced, and quilted both by hand and machine by Darcy Ashton. The background quilting was sewn with a walking foot by machine with straight lines using an orange and yellow variegated thread. Some hand quilting was done in the fins of the fish and in the pieced border with black thread and "big stitch" quilting. The printed design in the outer border was outlined with black thread.
